Basic information

Tapered roller bearings are available in metric or imperial sizes. In Poland, like in majority of european countries metric system apply. Nevertheless, in tapered roller bearing british measures (inches) are quite popular. They are used in motor sports, as well as in other devices produced in Great Britain. Bearings do not differ in construction, the signature are different:
Bearings in metric sizes signatures:
Stamped with following numbers: 302, 303, 313, 320, 322, 323, 329, 330, 331, 332.
For example: 31305.A
Bearings in inches signatures:
Contains the load capacity class: EL (extra light), LL (lighter than light), L (light), LM (light-medium), M (medium), HM (medium-heavy), H (heavy), HH (heavier than heavy), EH (extra heavy).
For example: HM 88547/10
