Basic information

Plain 'self-lubricating' bearings utilize porous journals within which a lubricant is held. As the bearing operates and lubricant is displaced from the bearing surface, more is carried in from non-wear parts of the bearing.

Self-Lubricating Sintered Bronze Bearings:
Type A Cylindrical, Type B Flanged bearing, Type C Spherical, Type D Spherical with collar, Machining rods
Self-Lubricating Sintered Iron Bearings:
Type AF Cylindrical, Type BF Flanged bearing, Type TF Machining rods

The Self-Lubricating Sintered Bronze and Iron SELFOIL® Bearings offer:

Safety: Elimination of the risk of seizure, permanent lubrication film 20 to 30% of the volume is oil impregnated, quiet function, low friction coefficient

Economy: Elimination of lubricators, maintenance-free, permanent stock & immediate delivery

Technology: very high precision, loads up to 10MPa (100 kg./cm2), speeds up to 30.000 r.p.m.

Impregnation oil: ISO-VG-68 viscosity paraffinic mineral oil

Temperatures: from -20°C to +120°C

Allowable load: PV=2,5MPa*m/s

Packaging: in plastic bags with bar code. the quantity per bag is the minimum order per piece, it is also possible to manufacture bearings with different sizes, materials and lubricants.
